Can Purina Pro Plan be used during the weaning of 5 week-old puppies?

Why would you even want to wean the puppies that early? If you want strong healthy dogs you shouldn't even think of weaning until 8 weeks! Nothing is as good for them as mom's milk, it won't hurt to start giving the dog food if they want to eat it, but it's not a good idea to go straight from mom to dog food. Much less this early... Please give them a few more weeks before you take them off there mom even if you do start them on dog food now.
