If you are really desperate try Vanquis Visa Card, the limit is �250 and although it will take forever to pay it back it is about �20 per month and most people get one if you are over 18 and a bad credit rating, I would avoid Capital One Bank because when I became unemployed in January they have added almost �100 interest because they are still trying to sort out the payment protection plan through AXA Insurance and they expect you to continue making the monthly payments until it is sorted out - 5 months and it still hasn't been sorted out, they were actually fined �175,000 in 2007 for false sale of PPI.
