What are a few good story ideas? I am ranging around a war story, and of course an esscence of romance.?

I usually right sappy love stories and don't focus on the war aspects, I need help creating a plot that focuses more on the war, and less on the love, prefferably forbidden love. Please give me some ideas! Thanks<3.
