Share the blame? (Even just a little?)?

Why don't we hear more about Barney Franks and Chris Dodds and the responsibility they need to take for the Fannie Mae Freddy Mac fiasco? I am an independent Obama supporter and God knows we've heard over and over about Bush and the Republicans and how they are to blame and in my opinion rightly so. My question is where is the outrage from the left about Franks and Dodds? Why are they still in office? Liberals want to blame the repubs for the economic state we are in and they should. But if you are really interested in finding ALL of the culprits why are you ping on the Dems who have some of the responsibility? Is this just plain politics? I am seriously asking as an independent who happens to back your man in the White House.
