How do you determine which Christian religion you belong to?
I grew up in a penticostal church, however, I've also been to baptist and methodist churches. But now I'm twenty years old and married and I am looking to find a church in the new town I'm living in. I don't think I'm going to go back to a penticostal church because I personally do not believe in speaking in tongues. But as far as baptist/methodist/etc I'm really confused. I don't believe you have to be baptized to go to heaven. I am not yet baptized, but I that since I recognize Jesus as my savior and I believe in God, if I died I think I would go to heaven; and I don't want to get baptized until I find a church that I want to make my "home". I also don't think that you can find God anywhere, not only in holy places, so I know becoming a lutheran would not be right for me. Any information? And please don't criticize me for my beliefs.
